Join me for this very special yoga retreat in D’Sage retreat centre, Gocek.

On the Turquoise coast, within walking distance is the town of Gocek or it’s a is 5 minute drive away .

+ The venue and area

The venue is a smart modern villa in a small village close to Gocek, with lovely views out towards the town, hils, and the sea. From the doorstep we can walk up into the pine covered hills or down into Gocek, where you will find shops, cafes and a Thursday market. The nearest beach is a pretty cove, 5 minutes drive away to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear warm sea.

Our host Tanfer is from Gocek and has been running yoga retreats for the past 30 years, he's designed the new yoga studio with a keen eye for detail.

Take time out to rejuvenate and re-calibrate the mind and body. Chill and relax by the pool. Daily yoga sessions, lots of healthy delicious food, sun and FUN!

The daily yoga sessions will be a mix of dynamic and restorative yin yoga, pranayama and meditation.Gong baths to truly relax. Open to all, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

The morning practice will be dynamic and energizing, focusing on the balance between strength and flexibility, setting you up for the day.

The evening sessions will be more restorative, yin yoga and breathing practices and Gong bath to relax.

We'll have an Art workshop one day.

There'll be a chance to take a boat ride and visit the many islands of Gocek.There will be liunch on board and penty of swimming! ' All meals are vegetarian (with the option of having fresh fish one evening). Special diets are catered for.

The accommodation is luxurious. Choose from single or twin rooms, all ensuite.

+ Potential trips out!

There are several options for things to do in the area. D'Sage is only a five minute drive from the sea and the small,chic yachting resort of Göcek with it's seafront cafes and shops. Excursions can be arranged, including a boat trip for swimming with lunch aboard, sailing around the beautiful bays and islands of Göcek.

The area also has lovely mountain and forest walks, with far reaching views of the coast. Shopping or sight seeing trips can also be arranged, as can a trip to the Turkish baths. There are many ancient ruins to visit.

_We can arrange transport at extra cost. Typically a taxi to the town or beach would cast around £10 so very good value depending on numbers.

Dalaman airport is the closest and just 40 minutes away by taxi.

Easyjet and Monarch fly to Dalaman on these dates. Skyscanner is a useful comparison website for looking at the different options.

Taxi transfers from the airport cost roughly £45.00 return pp. This is based on a shared taxi. Buses are easy to use in Turkey also.

YOGA RETREAT IN DALYAN, TURKEY

We’re going again!

5th - 12th OCTOBER 2024

I’m very excited to be going back again to the wonderful Lagoon Retreat.

So come on and join me for lots of yoga fun, delicious food, swimming, walking and lot’s more! We found some amazing walks last time.

Lagoon Retreat is located in an elevated position in a forested conservation area overlooking the Sülüngür Lagoon with spectacular views across the beautiful Dalyan delta and Istuzu beach.

There is a private beach on the lagoon can be reached by a 15-minute walk through the forest and another 30 minutes walk.

It has unbeatable views, comfortable well-appointed accommodation, which has been upgraded since our last visit. a pool and a fully equipped yoga shala. Not to mention the delicious meals for which Turkey, and Huzur Vadisi in particular, are renowned.

There’ll be a chance to go on a river boat trip with stops to visit some ancient ruins, mud baths and hot springs. Not to mention the delicious lunch on the boat and lots of swimming!

Dalyan is a short bus ride away and is on the Dalyan River, Across the river from town is the ancient ruined city of Kaunos, with Lycian rock tombs. Riverboats connect Dalyan with İztuzu Beach to the south, home to protected loggerhead turtle nesting grounds. To the northwest on the shore of Lake Köyceğiz is the village of Sultaniye, known for its thermal mud baths. So Lot’s to do in the area!

YOGA RETREAT in ALMERIA SPAIN

JUNE 8th - 15th 2024

I’m very pleased to be going back to the wonderful Finca del Alamo near Almeria. So come and join me for some yoga fun in the sun!

Located in Spain’s sunniest region and one of the least visited. The Finca is on the edge of one of Europe’s most remote and beautiful natural parks, the Cabo de Gata, one of the last unspoiled stretches of Spanish coastline. It’s an amazing landscape of perfect half-moon bays, hidden coves, bizarre volcanic rock formations, and spectacular flora and fauna – a wonderful wild coastline.

With it’s mountain backdrop, this really is an amazing beautiful place to spend a week in.

Within walking distance from the pretty town of Nijar, known for it’s crafts of pottery, basket weaving and rugs.
